Kenter Canyon

​

Construction of a 4,500 square foot home on a hillside in Kenter Canyon. Foundation work included 43 caissons imbedded 40-60 ft each. Was was hit at 12 ft depth, so over 1,000 gallons of water had to be pumped out of each hole. The interior features finished concrete floors, and the exterior features wooden European rain screens. 

Hancock Park

Reconstruction and restoration of a 20,000 square foot residence in Hancock Park. This home was originally built in 1922. The interior was gutted, leaving only three areas with existing paneling. All new mechanicals were installed in this house. The electrical included a Lutron HomeWorks system. The plumbing features Durvit and Dombracht fixtures. The tiles used were imported from Murano and Germany. All of the interior wood paneling was stripped, repaired, bleached, and refinished.

Palisades​ 1

​

Demolition and rebuild of an existing 5,500 square foot home in the Pacific Palisades. A 200 ft long, 18 ft tall wall was built 7 ft into the hillside around the property. 2,200 square feet was added to the project. Addition included a swimming pool, gym, and mechanical room built into the hillside. The pool was built into the hillside with 36 caissons. The home includes a Lutron HomeWorks system, custom HVAC system, and craftsman finishing of all gavalume roofs. All interior cabinetry and woodwork was done by Rotondi Construction.

Construction of a new modern 5,000 square foot home in the Pacific Palisades area.

Westwood

​

Construction of a new modern 3 story home in Westwood. This project features a rooftop deck, spiral staircases, and an all white interior.

Malibu

Reconstruction of a 7,000 square foot modern home that sat for 15 years after permits expired. The home was redesigned by the late architect Patrick Killen. In the absence of an architect, Rotondi Construction has been able to work out any details and plan changes in order to keep the job moving. This project features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and custom storefront glass.

 Pasadena 1

Remodel and addition of craftsman home in Pasadena. Architect Joseph Giovanini, critic for Architectural Digest and New York Times, was challenged with making a modern addition to match the character this craftsman home. This small but distinctive project was accepted taken on by Rotondi Construction due to the quality of the architecture. 

Santa Monica â€‹

Reconstruction and rebuild of an existing 2,500 square foot home. Exterior perimeter walls were left and a 2,500 square foot basement was added with a poured in place slab. The second floor was built on a steel structural system, totally separate from the first floor. This project includes a Lutron lighting system, hydo-heated floors, and solar power. 

 Pasadena 2

Construction of a 5,000 square foot modern interpretation of a traditional Japanese residence. The project features a cantilevered living room, a tatami room, and Japanese gardens. 

Beverlywood​

​

Construction of a new 5,500 square foot residence. Construction of this project included 26 caissons 60 ft deep.
